Power Generation Services Company Limited (PGS), a joint venture between Banpu Public Company Limited and The CLP Group from Hong Kong, is looking for candidates to join their team to operate a large coal-fired power generation project located at Map Ta Phut in Rayong province with commissioning commencing in 2005. The plant will have a capacity of 1434MW and will be the largest independent coal fired plant in Thailand. It will employ some 230 permanent staff consisting of trained engineers, team leaders, and teams of operatives. PGS is contracted to operate and maintain the plant over a period of 25 years. We are looking for candidates to fill all positions and recruitment will take place progressively through 2005. Candidates will preferably have experience in Operations or Maintenance in the following areas:-<br><br>- Coal fired power plant experience<br>- Experience in other types of power plants<br>- Experience in other engineering operations e.g. petrochemicals<br>Full domestic/ overseas training will be given as required.
