Responsibilities:
Evaluating the nutritional value, colour, flavour and texture of food
Testing food samples for particular types of moulds, yeast and bacteria that may be harmful
Ensuring that food manufacturing processes conform with government, processing, consumer and industry standards
Exploring alternative manufacturing methods producing new food products
Working closely with other food production staff including microbiologists, engineers, packaging specialists and buyers
Establishing low-cost wholesale food production methods
Investigating and setting standards for safety and quality
Our client has a wide variety of products ranging from their renowned line of organic jasmine rice products, pure and refreshing organic coconut line and off-the-charts chia seeds and manages and controls everything including production and processing, while selling to the biggest markets. In addition to being the largest producer of organic jasmine rice, they put the same attention to detail and pride in quality into other health-centric products. They also provide help to economically impoverished and culturally indigenous farmers is a part of their mandate and to ensure their partnerships with farmers have positive impacts on their lives. |

1. A good bachelors / Master degree in an appropriate subject such as food science/technology, food/chemical engineering, biochemistry, nutrition, microbiology or chemistry.
2. Candidates should possess at least 3 years food industry work experience.
3. Experience gained via food production line employment, or by working as a technician is preferred
